Sourdough gouda, cheddar, parmesan and chive rolls. Oh my!
It was a long process that started on Sunday. The dough was cold fermented till this morning, then filled with a blend of gouda, white cheddar, parmesan and chives and rolled.

I created a chocolate sourdough starter last night to make a chocolate walnut sourdough loaf. The process takes about 48 hours, its slow, but it'll be worth it.
Ill post the finished product tomorrow.
Can't wait 😊😋

My recovery from surgery is coming along great, so I couldn't resist making some jalapeño popper rolls and Caramel Pecan rolls for tonight's get-together at a friend's house.

Bread is like the sun.

It rises in the yeast and sets in the waist.

I tried my hand at yeasted banana bread and it turned out great.
Perfect toasted with Peanut butter or hazelnut spread, or maybe a pb&j sandwich.
And its amazing for French toast if you can't finish the loaf before it goes stale.

I'll be stepping out of the kitchen for a couple months due to personal reasons, but I will be back sometime in May.

I experimented this weekend with freeze dried fruit powder to flavour the dough which has banana, strawberries, Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries.
The filling is cream cheese with a touch of brown sugar and fresh raspberries and Blueberries wrapped inside.
OMG!
These have to be my favorite rolls to date.

I might call these Fruit Salad Rolls, topped with a Greek yogurt glaze.

I love what I do. My rolls are made with love.
Saw this after cutting into my caramel apple rolls. ❤
