She’s finally here. Woohoo. The rolling mill I ordered is finally here. I can’t wait to melt some metal and try her out.

This has been a dream tool since I started this journey. Buying shaped wire is super expensive. As a wire wrapper and metal artist I have a lot of scrap pieces of sterling silver. I hope to be able to use it all up ❤️🤞

What is your dream tool and why ?

Sometimes you succeed and sometimes you gotta keep at it

I’m still working on my course content for my class with “The Art of Reticulation and Granulation” with Tonya Davidson.

Granulation worked the first time. Woohoo

Reticulation is proving to be more challenging. I am afraid of melting out the metal. I just have to trust that I can follow the process and it will work. Sometimes you just gotta keep trying and allow yourself to fail Wish me luck. 🤞🤞🤞

I am loving this journey

It’s wild blueberry season in Northern Ontario

I love berry picking… I usually share with family. I pick way more than we can eat. This is a super plentiful harvest this year. So fun and meditative.

Just being outside in nature reaping of its bounty. How blessed are we….

Moving the studio

Here is my new space in progress. Great light, space and air. I’m still waiting for another table for the middle to make a U-shape. It feels good to have sorted it all out and getting organized I still have a rolling mill coming.

Ring class success!

I was a bit apprehensive about doing a ring class as I had never even thought of doing one. Wire wrapped rings are not really my go to item.

I chose two ring tutorials from and another that incorporated the skills. They did amazing. One large family group of 7 and a mother and daughter. What fun!

The students put their rings on and here is the picture. They were awesome.

Didn’t they do great? Should I do another!

Doing a market tommow in Matheson. Come on down to see me and the other vendors there just as you drive into the town on the right.

Come out to in Timmins Ontario. The small class is to allow for one on one instruction.

I will have stone beads and some decorative beads available. All tools and copper wire will be supplied.

Happy Monday to all of you. Started my day with the sale of a gorgeous Ammolite pendant from the website…. Picture a happy dance 💃🏼 …. And I finished up a beautiful green hemimorphite with a peridot faceted accent stone. This pendant has a special meaning for the recipient and the accent stone is in memory of a loved one. 🥹. I am so honoured to have been able to create this piece for them. ❤️

After my walk with a friend and my dad’s doctor’s appointment, I spent the rest of the day completing custom orders. What did you do?

I finally finished the tree of life. Three frames later… this is the one it was meant to have. It’s a beautiful agate stone with oxidized copper.

I made a few custom message rings. these are rings with a message stamped inside… these are believe, let it go, and you’ve got this 😊. all of the others with off colour messages sold. 🤷‍♀️. Two more citrines to make and a lovely heart pendant. Phewf. 👏

I also finished up a few more small spoon rings too. Great day 😊

Today you can find me at the Porcupine Mall for day 2 of a three day market. What to do when it gets a bit slow? I work on orders. The weaving will be the frame around the tree of life. I will oxidize and finalize it in my studio but the weaving can be done while I chat with clients. What do you think?
