We are already full swing into August and I just wanted to take a moment because as of this month Sacred Grove has officially been open for 1 year!

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share my posts or even mention my services to someone they know. Going full-time was a very intimidating and hard choice to make, though I couldn't have done it without the help of my partner and her support as well as the support of everyone who follows me. ❤️

To celebrate Sacred Groves 1 year anniversary I am holding a contest to give away a free massage. I can't believe July has already come and almost gone, I do apologize for the lack of posting. I did want to hop on and mention to keep an eye out for an upcoming contest that I will be announcing at the beginning of August as I will be celebrating Sacred Groves one year anniversary!

Self care, definitely something we encourage for those that we love but often forget to practice what we preach. I am also awful for this but yesterday was a day of complete self care, so much to the point I forgot to take photos!

Starting my day off with a lovely massage from my amazing teacher Chrislynn at JustNatural Spa & Institute Inc. I have made it a monthly ritual to see this lovely lady because as a masseuse myself i tend to forget the physical strain I cause on my own body. My day was full of treating myself and then going out to dinner with some amazing friends!

Let me know what kind of self care person you are, are you someone who gives yourself the spa treatment for would rather go buy yourself something nice :)

Spring is coming which means so is Ostara (Spring Equinox)

I know some days may not feel like it as we still have some snow lurking but you can smell spring in the air!

Ostara which is celebrated at the spring equinox, marks the beginning of the light half of the year and the arrival of spring. Ostara is celebrated by the colouring and decorating of eggs, planting of seeds, and performing rituals that honour the balance of light and dark.

Many also take part in spring cleaning which does not have to just mean our homes, spring cleaning could be in regards to our body and souls. Make sure to take time for yourself and keep your soul clear of any bad energy and nurture your body like the small saplings you would plant in your garden.

To start of this month I would like to announce that I will be holding a draw again. This month will be a busy month for me personally as well as Sacred Grove Massage by Jessica will be closed from the 19th to March 1st as I will be out of country attending a family event. Tis the time of year for people to make new years resolutions and goals for the big year ahead of us. I personally don't partake in new years resolutions but am happy to make new goals and dreams for this year!

I know many people such as myself don't take enough time for ourselves. Remember that in order to take care of the ones we love and cherish we must first take care of us. ❤️

Personally I will be attempting to meditate more and keep my self care appointments and not let them slip! 😊 why not take time for yourself too whether it be 30 minutes or an hour. I still have some openings for January if you are looking for some peace and relaxation.

I started my home business partway through the year and the turn out I have had was more than I could have ever hoped. As this seasons holiday quickly approaches we are reminded of our Christmas traditions. In our house growing up we always baked tons of cookies, we would have giant margarine containers full all prepped for Christmas day. Mind you we always filled up on goodies before the dinner was ready but we still ate anyway.😅

Big News! I am back in office and taking clients again 😊 I am still recovering so I am taking on less at the moment.

I will also be looking into expanding my services and offering reflexology/massages for your feet. After working on our feet for so many hours in a day we all deserve to pamper them. Let me know if this is something you would be interested in 😊

It has been a crazy start to August! Though the gloomy weather is needed for us in timmins unfortunately sad news came with it. Sacred Grove was on its way for opening as of July 1st, Today I received the news that this date would need to be delayed. I will be reaching out to anyone who was already prescheduled for July and be rescheduling for August, I apologize for this inconvenience. This little delay will not keep me down though, I am taking the time to revamp the space. This project was going to be pushed but since the time was given to me I will take the opportunity 😊 please reach out for prebooking for August.

First year attending the colour run it was a blast! Loved seeing Chrislynn Losier and the gang from JustNatural Spa & Institute Inc. can't wait to attend next year 😊
