Update on the City Water Breaks:

Big shout out to our crews who worked endlessly on all the City water breaks in South Porcupine. Thanks to the City crew that helped out and ESI, they were able to get them all repaired (in record time 😉). Our first priority was to get them repaired and water back on to the residents. Now they will work on getting them all backfilled and cleaned up.

Our crews are out helping the City of Timmins with a number of emergency water breaks.
Thanks to a good group of workers who are always willing to help when emergencies come up, we are able to help the City out.

**UPDATE - 3:39 p.m. - Watermain repairs for South Porcupine / Porcupine**

Thank you for being patient while City crews work quickly to make repairs on a number of watermain breaks. Caron Equipment is mobilizing multiple crews to assist with repairs. Residents and businesses in the affected areas may experience lower than normal to no water pressure while work is completed. Full disruption of water service will be temporary if required.

Road closures remain in effect for all locations while work is being carried out:

- Harold Ave. - repairs are complete
- Intersection of Summers and Smith
- Tisdale from Goldrush to Smith
- Essa between Crawford and Main
- Legion between William and Shamrock
- Eric Cr.
- Northern College service interruption still in effect. This is a private break. Contractors will be completing repair.

Work is expected to continue until late this evening.

City staff are doing everything they can to get service fully restored and maintain our drinking water system. These repairs are priority and we will continue to provide updates as needed. Thanks again for your cooperation.
