Hi everyone my name is Amber Vane I am a fully certified lash tech based in Timmins ON.

Since I was very young I’ve always had a big interest in the beauty industry, due to my big passion for esthetics I was able to open my own lash business at the age of only 17!

During my last year of high school I had approached to see if she’d be interested in having a coop student, thankfully she welcomed me in with open arms. I felt right at home💗

This gave me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge in this industry. My journey did not end there. After I graduated I was able to establish my own business located at Luxe Lounge Spa.

Im attending Collège Boréal in the fall too further my education in esthetics. This is just the start of my journey I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

We currently have four positions available through the extended Canada Summer Jobs program. If you are a student or a returning student, like working outdoors and managing your own time, have a valid driver's license and vehicle, this job is for you! We need helpers to load and unload construction materials, move materials to work areas, assist in construction activities on site, assist in demolishing buildings, sort, clean and pile salvaged materials, remove rubble and other debris at the site using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment, and perform other activities in the shop yard as directed.

Job hours are flexible as long as you work 35 hrs per week for 8 weeks. The wage offered is $14.50 per hour through Canada Summer Jobs, and this is negotiable with the owner depending on experience. The successful applicant must adhere to the terms and conditions of the Canada Summer Jobs agreement.

There is no public transportation available to the site so you must have your own vehicle or make your own travel arrangements.

McKee Steel Siding and Roofing is the regional authorized dealer of Steel Tile sheet metal roofing systems. We sell salvaged metal for smaller projects.

McKee's Weatherproofing is accepting resumes for the position of Foreman/woman: Flat roofing. Candidate must have 3-5 yrs experience installing single-ply flat roofing systems including P.V.C. and T.P.O. Minimum high school education is required. Must be able to supervise 2-5 labourers. Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle, potential for company vehicle based on individual. Estimating experience and skills and bilingual (english/french) considered assets. Went to the "Safety Is No Accident" Health and Safety Conference today, presented by the Timmins Regional Labour-Management Joint Health and Safety Committee, with the support of the Timmins Construction Association. Such a great event! From the keynote speakers to the concurrent sessions, every presentation was relevant and informative. Congrats to the organizers, they did an amazing job!
