**Position Summary:**

The Service Advisor at our Toyota dealership acts as a liaison between our customers and our service technicians. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing service appointments, and ensuring customers' vehicles are maintained and repaired efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a deep understanding of automotive services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet customers warmly and ascertain the reason for their visit, whether it is routine maintenance or an emergency repair.
- Listen to customers’ descriptions of their vehicle issues and provide clear explanations of the necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Schedule service appointments and accurately record customer information and vehicle details.
- Provide detailed cost estimates for repairs and maintenance, obtaining customer approval before any work begins.
- Liaise with service technicians to accurately diagnose vehicle issues and communicate findings to customers.
- Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs and keep customers informed of any changes or delays.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance when appropriate, ensuring customers understand the benefits.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy, seeking to resolve issues promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Maintain customer records and update the dealership's database with accurate information.
- Ensure that all warranty and recall work is handled according to Toyota guidelines.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest Toyota products, services, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable advice to customers.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or automotive-related coursework is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role in a different industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive services, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with computer systems and dealership software.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

**Job Title: Lot Attendant**

**Position Type:** Full-Time

As a Lot Attendant at James’ Toyota, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership by maintaining the appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. **Vehicle Management:**

- Receive new inventory deliveries, inspect vehicles for damage, and record any issues.
- Park vehicles in assigned areas in an organized and efficient manner.
- Retrieve vehicles for customers and other dealership personnel as needed.

2. **Lot Maintenance:**

- Keep the lot clean, orderly, and free of debris.
- Ensure proper signage and labeling of vehicles.
- Perform regular inspections of the lot to identify any maintenance or safety concerns.

3. **Customer Service:**

- Assist customers in locating vehicles on the lot.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times when interacting with customers.

4. **Supporting Sales and Service Departments:**

- Assist sales and service departments with moving vehicles as needed.
- Coordinate with other dealership staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist in organizing special events or promotions held on the lot.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
