We are pleased to announce that NRS will be hosting a college, pro recruiting information night on December 19th at 8pm.
This event will run by the Greg Byron and staff from the Mississauga Tigers HPP. Greg is a leader in College placement, and he is eager to help inform players and parents about college recruiting and the process.
This is a free event, we have linked this event with our food drive for the Christmas and Holiday season. We ask that each visitor, bring a non perishable item for donation to Toronto’s Food Bank.

Tony Hrynkiw will run a 6 week catchers clinic begins Tuesday November 14th at 7Pm and will run until December 19th.
Tony is former OBJ Alumni, and played college baseball at Connors State in Oklahoma. He is also a coach with the Mississauga Tigers HPP 18U 2023 Canadian National Champions. The 6 week clinic is $395.50 you can register by email [email protected]

Three slots to chose from beginning Nov. 13th 15th, or 17th. Running through to the Christmas Break December 22nd being last day. $299+HST per player when registering as team.

Excited to announce another top shelf coach.
Gollert25, had an amazing year. He finished his collegiate career with Oral Robert’s University and a pitched 10-2 this year for the Golden Eagles, they went to the quarter finals of the college World Series in Omaha this summer.
Harley then took his winning ways to the Frontier League nowhere the Capital won the Frontier League Championship.

Last year we helped over 20 players reach their 40 hour goal, from 13 different schools.

You never know who you will run into World Championships in Jupiter Florida. It was pleasure meeting at diamond. Not only does he hold Achievement Of Excellence honours at the Rogers Centre, he lives it off the field, supporting young developing players.
In conversation he emphasized the importance of how you train in the off season, that was the key to his longevity and success.

Mississauga Tigers HPP18U team Byron repeat their performance in Ft. McMurray Alberta. It all starts on the mound, lots and lots of good arms. No shortage of that in Canada’s number one development program. Going to be a great fall winter training season at NRS HPP pitchers and catchers slots filling up quickly. We are excited to announce that Tony Hyrnkiw will be working with our catchers this off season, and in the HPP with Pitchers and catchers on Tuesday’s and Friday’s this fall and winter.
Tony is a former OBJ Alumni and played at Connors State in Oklahoma. He is an excellent hitting instructor to back-up his defensive skills behind the plate.

We are extremely happy to announce that Glenn Jackson has been named to our 2023/24 roster, to aid in hitting and outfield instruction. Glenn grew up playing ball with Toronto Playgrounds, East York, Ontario Blue Jays & the Canadian Thunderbirds.

He played collegiate ball at Barton County Community College for two years and proceeded to finish at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He played CF and RF. Glenn is a great addition to the ever growing NRS team of experienced coaching staff.

Played in the Intercounty Baseball league for the Guelph Royals, Toronto Maple Leads & Barrie Baycats where he won 5 championships and was named to the leagues top 100 all time players.

Previous coaching experience has come with North York & the Toronto Mets Elite Baseball Program, currently coaching North Toronto 12UAAA

We welcome Ryan Asis another Tigers HPP coach to our roster of top level coaches. He started his collegiate career at University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. He Finished up at Canisius College. He returned to Canisius College as a Graduate Assistant. He is Currently coaching with Tigers HPP and is the Canadian Director of Philippines Baseball. Ryan is also the Canadian Director of Five Tool Canada. Five Tool is one of the top tournaments in US baseball. He has rallied Five Tool to bring Five Tool events to Canada. This is really great for growth and development of Canadian Baseball.

We welcome back Kyle Thomas as one of our pitching coordinators working Greg Byron. Kyle has been with the Tigers for two full season and he is apart of that dynamic winning culture. Kyle in year one with NRS also trained in our facility with Greg, and prepared himself for the 2021 season in Winnipeg. Kyle has played at all levels of baseball and is a great mentor to all who work with him.

We are excited to announce that Greg Byron will be the Head of Baseball Development at NRS this coming fall/winter season of 2023/24.

We welcome .byron back to NRS. Greg has worked with the Minnesota Twins organization and with the Rochester Red Wings at the AAA level during the 2015 season. He worked with the St. Louis Cardinals organization in 2014, as an assistant coach with the Memphis Redbirds.

Arguably one of the top pitching coaches in Canada, Greg has helped changed the future landscape of Canadian baseball with a High Performance Development program with the Mississauga Tigers HPP. Year one saw the Tigers win the Oklahoma Cup in 2021, and Five Tools in Melissa TX in 2022, as well as the Canadian National 18U Championship in Ft. McMurray Alberta 2022.

Last week Byron lead the Tigers to Canada’s first appearance at the , Connie Mack World Series in Farmington New Mexico in 13 years.

NRS has assembled an outstanding coaching staff this winter. We will be announcing various programs and clinics in the upcoming weeks. The game is changing!
