Well, it looks as though my most recent HuffPo blog on the subject of pet bereavement has gone viral, with over 4.7K 'likes', and hundreds of 'shares' on Facebook alone. Over the past week, I've received countless messages via various social media platforms from pet lovers everywhere, thanking me for publishing this post on a public platform, as it has provided them with comfort and unofficial permission to grieve their own animal companions fully.
