Our vision is to design and build portable, modular, self sustaining ‘Safe Sleep Homes’ for anyone in need of not just a physical space, but also a sense of belonging, security, safety, and emotional well being.

Anti-homeless architecture is a $3.1 billion dollar industry. Not only does it look unattractive, but it is cruel and aggressive. It is evidence of the selfish nature of society while also a disregard for nature and the environment.

We build Safe Sleep Homes, instead. Please help support our Kind and self-sustaining solution.

This beautiful location is where C4BCs ‘Safe Sleep Home’ prototype will be built.

They are not shelters, nor temporary housing per se, but portable, modular, self-sustaining, off grid HOMES for anyone in need of not just a physical space, but also a sense of belonging, security, safety, and emotional well being.

We truly hope that the powers that be will visit and experience our prototype and that they will consider these alternatives when planning and or addressing policy.

Our QUC Safe Sleep Shelter new design allows for two units to share a deck, walk way, and outer space creating a much needed home and community environment.

We wanted these tiny homes to feel less institutional and or temporary.

Designed by QUC Architect Lucy Gala, our shared vision is that these units are not only cozy, safe, and home to those who reside in them, but that they also create beautiful communities for those who have lost that spirit.

Most importantly, these Safe Sleep Shelters are completely off grid, and will not burden any utility, city, municipality, or location on which they are placed/located. Technology design by Joie Lamar

Thank you, Ticha Albino, for your vision and bringing together the amazing Q***r Urban Coalition to make this happen.

Fifty days into the COVID-19 pandemic, and homeless people are still in a desperate situation 04/29/2020

We believe that we have a solution that solves the issues of both distancing, in these times of Covid, but also safety and shelter towards an end to homelessness.

Fifty days into the COVID-19 pandemic, and homeless people are still in a desperate situation Pandemic day 50. While many of us are tired of staying home, zooming or having to wear a mask to go into a grocery store we have also learned how precious home is, how to be creative and how to help and support others. We've also learned a lot about basic public health measures. In this case, stayin...
