Three weeks ago we brought home a laying hen that lays green eggs. Everyday the kids would ask to go out to the coop to see if she laid a green egg yet! Well, yesterday she finally laid her first green egg and the kids were sooooooo excited!!! Do you think I can get them to eat it?! ๐๐ฅ๐
It was time for River to transplant her bean plant! Thanks again Lee Academy โบ๏ธ๐ฑ River is excited to start JK this September at the South Campus ๐๐ผ
Our new bee nucs are settling in nicely to their new homes ๐ The honey supers have now been added!

The early bird didnโt catch the worms today! After a big rain fall there are always lots of worms on our driveway so the kids and I like to go out and collect them to give to the chickens! ๐ชฑ๐

This beautiful creek runs through the back of our farm. And late at night when all is calm and you think nature is sleeping, thatโs when you hear the coyotes howling.

We took on a smaller farming role this summer as you can imagine how busy weโve been adjusting as a family of ๐๐ผ now!
But the kids have still gotten their hands dirty in motherโs earth this season!
