Our biggest donation EVER!🥳 We worked with Western Bookstore to keep their home city of London warm this winter. 1400 items with a mix of socks, mittens, and toques that could not have come at a more crucial time. 🙏❤️With the rain falling and temperatures dropping, we helped the amazing people at Ark Aid Street Mission to serve their community with winter essentials. They told us they were getting request for mittens the night before and they instantly went out to give them to those in need in London.If you pick up some custom Western University Toques we’d love to see them, tag us in any posts and we’d love to share it! Ramen 🤝 Toques: Keeping people warm ❤️ Because @mystic.ramen purchased 100 custom toques to sell in their restaurant, we were able to go down the street and donate 100 toques to @livingrock.youth.resources. Something BIG happened to us over the summer that’s gonna be a game changer for this upcoming season! The 1Awards is a pitch competition hosted by First Ontario Credit Union, with the goal to help businesses in Ontario grow by winning amazing prizes and receiving professional services from the sponsor companies. After roughly 100 companies presented, we were selected as one of the finalists to pitch our company in a Dragons Den style pitch to a room full of experts. Fast forward to the awards ceremony and we had no idea what to expect. After hearing all of the other finalists pitching, there were so many great companies that would have been worthy recipients of the cash and in-kind services.�The panel of judges believed in our mission just as much as we did, and awarded us with the #1 prize! We are so excited to use our new resources and connections to continue growing Toques From The Heart.
