The crunch of the snow underneath my boots is a beautiful sound to me. It reminds me of running up and down the hill as a kid, tobogganing with my friends, when life was easy! I sometimes think about people that miss the depth of these sounds. If you have a hearing loss, you might hear parts of these little moments, but miss a lot of them too. The richness isn’t there, but it could be.
The stigma around wearing hearing aids still persists, and remains to be an obstacle in people hearing better. Hearing aids are devices for people of all ages, and they have become small, comfortable and sound better than ever before. Hearing health is an important part of overall health, so let’s drop the stigma, and hear all of life’s beautiful sounds.
