MEAT eaters need to ensure they consume a lot of FIBRE to help the passage of meat through their digestive system to prevent putrefying meat in their guts. 🤢. Chia seeds are versatile, mild in flavour and are an excellent way to get the gut moving. Here I have prepared a simple chia seed breakfast using coconut milk leftover from dinner. Chia seeds swell 10x their volume and best left for 10+ minutes over overnight. Preparing food night before definitely helps set me up for good decision making the next day.
There are always small changes one can make to one’s daily diet and lifestyle to become healthier. Small, manageable changes ensures accountability. 🥝🥑🫐
I create personalised eating plans to address your health concerns whilst debunking myths and empowering you with knowledge to walk confidently on your path towards better health.

MICROPLASTICS from disposable coffee cups (yes - it’s in paper cups!) cause hormonal imbalances (migraines, PMS, Fibroids, menstrual problems, fertility problems, prostate problems etc). I avoid it AT ALL COSTS!!! I always carry a stainless steel mug with me and in my car to use when buying a take-away hot drink. Prevention is the best cure. Teach your children. Avoid harmful xenooestrogems from microplastics whilst saving the planet from unnecessary waste. www.food-therapy.org

COLLAGEN supplementation has been the craze for a while, but your DIGESTIVE system has to be functioning optimally in order to break down the collagen supplement, digest and absorb.
Stress negatively impact digestion by affecting HCl levels in the stomach, whereby rendering proteins harder to digest.
Mineral deficiency, in particular zinc, also negatively affects digestion as it is involved in over 200 different enzyme reactions in the body.
To support digestion through times of stress, and assess nutrient deficiencies in your diet, reach out to me to find out more.
To support natural collagen production ensure sufficient levels of proteins, Vit. C, Zinc and Copper.
Correct dosage is essential!

PUMPKIN SMOOTHIE
As the season changes, so should your diet.
Squash and pumpkins are packed with beta carotene, the pre-cursor to Vitamin A, which is important for a strong immune system to wade off colds and flu.
Nature knows best so enjoy seasonal fruit and veg and don’t be afraid to add leftover roasted/steamed pumpkin/squash to your smoothie. It’s pretty darn delicious!
INGREDIENTS:
Roasted pumpkin
Banana
Avocado
Oat milk
Mango yoghurt
Vanilla vegan protein powder
Sunflower lecithin
Pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger spice
Eat foods as close to their natural state as possible.

Vit D - optimal levels LOWER your CANCER risk! Ever had your Vit D levels checked? If not, why not?! A simple blood test will determine if you are deficient in this important Vitamin. 75 is deemed ‘sufficient’ but rather aim for the 200 mark to optimise your health and lower your risk of cancer. Vit D can be made when the sun converts cholesterol under our skin to Vit D. Sunscreen blocks production, and tanned skin decreases production of less Vit D. Get tested - I DARE YOU! www.food-therapy.org
Coffee LOVERS …. did you know that drinking anymore than 2x cups of coffee PER DAY increases your risk of having a STROKE by 50%?!
Which one are you?
CHERISH the HEALTH we have and work to MAINTAIN it.
By the time you are labeled with a ‘disease’ it has likely been in the works for several years or even decades.
It’s the day-to-day HABITS and influences – the food choices, stressors, toxins, sleep, exercise, and environment – that ultimately dictate whether the body is actively fighting off, or slowly succumbing to disease.
Loving the seasonal tart cranberries to counteract the sweetness from the pineapple pieces in my fruit salad this morning.
SEEDS - the forgotten food! Proteins, healthy oils and zinc - yes please 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Did you know that CRANBERRIES are effective agains lung inflammation and help treat respiratory infections?
Your BEST defence against viruses is a healthy gut and digestive system, a nutrient rich diet and a positive mind 💪🏽
Learning to eat healthily is a SKILL. It is the best gift you can give to your family.

7-Ingredient ‘Cheese’ Cake
This is a recipe from Minimalist Baker which I just love.
I like to add organic lemon rind to give the ‘cheese’ cake extra depth of flavour, and of course for the added nutrients.
Most of us do not eat enough nuts and seeds and are therefore deficient in essential fatty acids. This is a delicious way to boost your good fats and please your tastebuds.
My ONLY complaint is that they disappear too fast in my house. Husband and kids love them as much as I do 💕
