I just added a complete run of Todd McFarlane's work on Amazing Spider-Man to tbonescomics dot com. So many nice little touches on this cover featuring Mysterio. The way McFarlane draws the "311" in webbing in the barcode corner. The way Spidey reflects in Mysterio's helmet and those classic McFarlane hands.

Amazing Spider-Man #202

This early Punisher appearance follows the story from ASM #201. Keith Pollard does some stunning fashion illustration on this cover. Note the yellow and black hat band / magenta shirt combo on the fellow aiming a double barrelled shotgun or the green fur jacket sported by the woman between Punisher and Spidey.

I love this Amazing Spider-Man cover by John Romita. Spidey is swinging towards the reader gives the cover depth and motion. It always drove me crazy trying to figure out what what the sign says on the left held by the guy with the magenta turtleneck: "A LOW RE_T DO_ _ "???? A mystery for the ages.

When Marvel asked fans to vote for their favorite Marvel Comic-Book Cover of all time Wolverine came out on top with 1988's The Incredible Hulk Issue #340. I can't say I disagree. The reflection of The Hulk in Wolvie's claws is for me one of the most memorable comic book moments I can think of. I still remember the day I bought this copy at my local comic shop. Todd McFarlane and Peter David were killing it on the Hulk and when this showed up people lost their s**t. This was the last copy on the stand and I was happy to get my hands on it!
