Are you interested in learning how to suture? Well, you’re in luck! CUBE will be collaborating with HOSA UTSG and the Trinity School of Medicine to host a Suturing Workshop on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023, from 6:00-8:00PM. You will have the opportunity to learn how to suture, and all required materials will be provided to you.

We will end off with a networking session with Warren Ison, the Trinity School of Medicine Admissions Officer, in which you will have the opportunity to ask him any questions you may have!

Berj Bardakjian - ECE and IBBME, Clinical Engineering:
“The main themes of our research and publications are within the general fields of electrical rhythmic activities of the brain, epilepsy, and neural engineering.”

Warren Chan - Director of IBBME, Canada Research Chair in Nanobioengineering:
“Interested in studying and understanding the proteomic and genomic changes associated with abnormal cells (e.g., cancer cells or virally-infected cells) and tissues.”

Radhakrishnan Mahadevan- Canada Research Chair in Metabolic Systems Engineering; Principal Investigator for Laboratory for Metabolic Systems Engineering & BioZone – Centre for Applied Bioscience and Bioengineering:

Lab Workshop #1 will take place on October 12th from 6:00-9:00PM EST in the design studio (MB78). Participants will learn and practice the fundamentals of SolidWorks and MATLAB’s Bioinformatics Toolbox along with BME-related examples.

Participants who complete at least two CUBE lab workshops over the 2T2-2T3 school year will receive an e-certificate signed by UofT’s BME department!
