Yesterday, my dear friend of four decades, Alice Shalvi passed away in Jerusalem. Alice was 97 and an inspiration to all, and I mean ALL who knew her. She was a trailblazer, a great mind, a mentor, a brilliant teacher and a fierce feminist with truly the most wonderful and benevolent spirit. Alice you were a true friend, a brilliant, highly intelligent, kind, thoughtful, caring and generous woman, whose existence enhanced my life. May your memory be a blessing. I will miss you always. the kingdom
