Summer is almost here. I can feel it in my bones! To celebrate this much wanted change of the seasons we are now offering our new weekday 3 course Prix Fixe menu at $45. To celebrate Darlene’s roots, we are offering as the 2nd course beautiful Mussels from Newfoundland. Sustainably recommended by Oceanside, our organic mussels are grown using the French Bouchot method (rope grown) off the coast of Newfoundland. This method requires wooden poles to be dug into the seabed with nets strung in between. This method is beneficial for the mussels as it keeps them suspended from the seafloor. Memories of going down to the beach as youngsters, picking a bucket of mussels and having a “boil up” abound. All is missing is the ocean water for the pot! Slurp these down with a glass of French wine or a beer and you might feel that you are a wee bit closer to heaven…💛 Oh yes, there’s also scrumptious salad w pistachios and a delightful cheese course w quince compote too! Prix Fixe Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Our al la Carte menu is always available. Reservations through OpenTable or stroll on in.
