I have myself a gentle reminder today that I have the best job in the world. To help tell peoples stories to cherish forever and to look back on for their own legacies is the biggest honour ❤️ this is the only job I ever want to have. Thank you to everyone’s who’s been around for the journey.

As cozy season arrives I just want to remind you that I love coming over for your families ✨ Newborns, littles, extended family, whatever! A park nearby or an in-home session, I’m there for it all. Early on I knew my passion for photography and my love for dogs would intersect in the most magical way. 📷🐕 Over the years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of being part of countless love stories, all while celebrating the cherished pets who make each wedding day extra special.

Dogs are more than just pets; they’re family. 🐾 Whether it’s a pawsome proposal, a save-the-date shoot with a playful pup, or a heartwarming ceremony where the ring bearer has fur and a wagging tail, I’ve been there to capture the bond and joy they bring. These moments have become some of the most heartwarming and unforgettable experiences in my photography journey.

To all the couples who have entrusted me to capture their big day and to all the dogs who’ve added that extra sprinkle of magic, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I hold deep appreciation for those who inquire about photography and videography services for their wedding day. During the challenging times of the COVID I initiated the practice of providing both these services, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Over the past two years, I’ve undergone a transformation in my approach to business. While I have a genuine passion for both photography and videography, I’ve discovered that my true calling lies in focusing on one service at a time. This approach allows me to function more as an artist and creator rather than a multitasking director with my team (who I’ve love btw).

For a period, I embraced the director’s role and cherished the experience it offered. However, these days, I find my greatest fulfillment in the role of an artist/creator, and I feel most in tune with this when I exclusively engage in either photography or videography. Both of these art forms are sources of deep passion for me.

As I start booking weddings for 2024, I am excited to have a conversation with you about either photography or videography for your special day.

Hi I’m Danica 👋 These photos were taken by the lovely during Brandi and Carley’s wedding day. When I look at these I can’t help but think how far I’ve come. When I first started entrepreneurship I was terrified. How was I going to make a living, make a salary (!), by doing this? Would I have to work myself into the ground and make my hands bleed? Would I have to take on a lot of projects I didn’t like to make it happen? Would people hire someone who needed to gain experience for their wedding day? Just how?!

I was met by so many amazing humans that believed in me and knew I could do what I was promising. I can’t thank each and everyone of my couples who gave me a chance when I first started. And to everyone who’s hired me! You’ve given me a life I couldn’t have dreamed of 😭

When I look at myself here, truthfully, I’m so damn proud. I loved this job SO freaken much that I didn’t give myself and option to fail. But self doubt is always there. There were times I questioned if I could REALLY do this full time. And it was my clients that really showered me with kindness that kept me moving forward.

The joy and the freedom of getting to do this everyday…..it’s an untouchable feeling. If I don’t say it enough thank you to everyone who’s been a part of my journey. ❤️

Downtown Toronto, you always amaze me 💙 Candy and Terry opted for the wedding of their dreams when they saw . There evening was intimate and casual with apps all night, a tarot card reader, and a poet writing poetry for everyone. It was nothing I’d ever seen and so honoured to be a part of 💕

What a wild weekend! From 2 weddings to anniversary photo fundraiser it’s been a jam packed fall thus far. With a full schedule of sessions this week I’ll be travelling back to my small town this weekend for some work and to drop our Moira 🐶 off because……we’re going to Disney this October!

With that said I’m going to be editing by butt of this week into the weee hours of the morning if I have to. I appreciate everyone’s patience as I know you’re all anxious to see your magical coverage. I’m pouring my whole heart into everything. Thank you everyone for having me document your special moments and weddings :)

Living by the beach was a dream I didn't know I had. Making the time to take that 8 minute drive down the road to our little escape has always been one of Moira's favourite things. I've definitely had a taste of "beach life" in my past when I worked on Long Island for 2 summers. A life I didn't think I could replicate in some way in Toronto. The Beaches has its charm we've found our favourite spots that make it feel like home. Our lifeguard station to the Water Treatment Centre is "our spot" and I'm so glad my friend Kristen got to capture this of me and my girl. I know what it feels like to have these sessions of your families and I SO SO value every single one of these photos

Favourite place all year round? The Beaches. Thanks for sharing your love story with me Angela + Jonathan. I can’t wait to be there for your special day.

I’ll let you in on a secret: I love documenting weddings but I’m not wedding obsessed. Don’t get me wrong, there are so many reasons why I love weddings (duh! I’m in this business of love for a reason….)
