Guard Your Thoughts

The mind is very difficult to perceive; very delicate and subtle; it moves and lands wherever it pleases. The wise one should guard his mind, for a guarded mind brings happiness. ~The Dhammpada III:3 Citta Vagga p. 101

This year I feel I have been wrapped up in my mind trying to determine which way to go. Believing that I needed more education, self-development, and business development I have been in a flurry of stuffing my head full of information. And despite my daily practice, I struggled with this confusion and going after shiny objects instead of just doing what I needed to do in the first place. Read this paragraph in the Dhammapada, (you can search it online), it clearly spells out what I just described from my own muddled mind.

Our Story

TWDD, Talismanic Wheel & Diamond Dharma originated from a collection of ancient Vajrayana, Ch’an and Daoist practices, into this modern day meditation method to quieten mind, body and speech. The lineage stems from the Tibetan Gelupka sect and is practiced by millions around the world. Master Shi Haikong is the Abbot of 4 main temples in Henan, Herbei and Sichuan provinces. A few Canadians have taken refuge and taken advanced teachings to become teachers and propogate his teaching in the west.

In the west, classes are currently being held in Sooke and Victoria, B.C. TWDD weekly practice sessions are also held in Kitchener. Toronto offers one-one-one beginner session see www.haikong.ca for more details.
