The Ninette Sanatorium
The fireplace from Dr. Stewart’s house will be on display in the administration building when the building reopens.
A second fly over, look at that beautiful lake!

INVESTOR CALL
When we purchased and restored The Pelican Campground & Lounge we had many people say they were going to do this. So that opportunity past, but now we have another project in the works and we have a proven track record of following through with the restoration projects we take on.
If you think the Sanatorium project is something you’d like to be involved with, reach out and lets have a conversation. See if its a fit for you and your investing portfolio.

We have had a few messages asking how to help and if we accept donations. Yes. Both are welcomed.
A GoFund me page might be easiest way for any financial donations. We are in the works to set the Admin building up as Non Profit so we can apply for grants and work towards restoring this amazing building.
We are working at restoring the grounds (They are amazing) and the main building, so lots of work on the go and lots of expenses. We need to clear all the health and safety hurdles and then we can open this building back up to the public.

The boys had another solid day of tree clearing today. We found a road that the Forrest had consumed, we found a few more rock walls that were lost to nature, and we removed a lot more overgrowth.
We also had a visit from our Reeve Darren Seymour for a tour of the grounds and check out the progress!
Our plan will be to keep a daily journal and post monthly on progress as it’s being made.
A lot of people have messaged to ask our plans, when we bought the property it came with a government issued notice on the door. We think it was in place about 8 months prior to purchase so our first step is to deal with the orders and get the place cleared for the public to enter.
This list won’t be cheap to work through with the requirements. Likely around the $30,000 range. But we’ve had Westman Environmental Services and Restoration Manitoba onsite working away and they are making progress.
It is a necessary step to make sure the building is safe, sound and clean.
Question / Discussion:
As we start the journey of bringing life back to the Ninette Sanatorium we ask the question:
What would you use the main Administration building for?
What are your ideas…..how do we use the building purposefully to create enough revenue to cover monthly expenses and cover any wages and maintenace.
The monuments that are on the Sanatorium grounds.
A survey map of the grounds that were acquired.
We spent the last day and a half trying to find the valleyview building. You couldn’t even see it when we started.
Probably a solid 10 days left to clean up the grounds. Lots of brush still to remove. If anyone wants to help, we welcome the help. The grounds are amazing and we’re excited to bring the back to life!
The Rec Center - still operates today as The Lakehouse Fitness & Spa
There is a crazy amount of tree clearing and landscaping required to bring this photo back but we’ll get there!
Which building was this?
Where was it located?
What year was it demolished?
