A new phishing campaign targeting the military and weapon contractors. Employees are sent a phishing email in an attempt to infect systems with malware

Stealthy hackers target military and weapons contractors in recent attack Security researchers have discovered a new campaign targeting multiple military contractors involved in weapon manufacturing, including an F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft components supplier.

In August, Waterloo Regional District School Board was hacked. Attackers were able to steal sensitive data like SIN numbers, birth dates, and even banking information. It's crazy to think that even schools are targets for cybercriminals.

Interesting how they decided to deal with this situation, not sure if it was the correct way to go about it.

The Ransome group Hive reported having hacked into Bell. In August Hive got access to personal information of Bell employees. This consisted of finance, recruitment, birthdays, and even COVID-19 information.
