Consistency in anything is everything
The comfort zone is a quiet place where nothing grows
I almost didn’t run this am and then this quote popped into my head… I think I stole it from someone.
Not a great picture or even a notable workout but it’s in the books and my consistency is pushed forward just a little bit more.
I sometimes catch myself finding humor in characters on TV that are too “tight” or “conservative”.
This needs to change in me. Good men are consistent, honorable and disciplined. When we laugh at this we diminish not them, but ourselves.

Admission: I’ve not been consistent in exercise, diet and sleep.
Time for changes…
Always smallest steps possible. I went to bed earlier last night and laid my running clothes out…that went well!
What small change are you making today?
Just take the smallest next step.
-Go to bed 1/2 hour earlier
-Eat a smaller snack tonight
-Get up 1/2 earlier
-Do 1 push up
What’s your Saturday looking like??
Just a few weeks back into training and I’m feeling the ole’ fire lighting back up!!
You’re always making a choice.
Move toward the good…especially in the smallest choices.
On the right track. It’s amazing what consistency does for you.
It doesn’t matter if you think it’s possible or not, get out there and do it.
I may get tired running but I’ll never get tired of this 1/2 marathon course.
Your choice.
Your comfort zone is a tidy place where nothing grows.
Week 2 Day 2. Aerobic Threshold Bike Fitness Test…not sure if I won or lost!!
Get uncomfortable…
The ole facial juices are flowing today!
Pool was closed so I had just enough time for a tempo run!
Outside run for pretty much the first time this year. I’ve been running consistently inside on the treadmill watching a video or listening to music.
Going outside is definitely less comfortable. I have friends that have run outside all winter but all I need to do is something more difficult that yesterday.
Remember that for yourself. Others are doing more or less than you… don’t worry about any. one. else. Do what is uncomfortable for you.
Just a bit maybe but “a bit” everyday!
Mine is reading 1/2 hour every day.
Comment yours!
The key is to not avoid losing but to embrace it as inevitable and try again.
Everyone has failures…those who use them are successful.
What has failure taught you?
What will you want to have done today? Do that.

I’ve got some big things coming up this year and if there is interest, I’d love for you to be part of it!!
Small good decisions + Consistency + Time = Success
There are lots of reasons why you can’t _________ (fill in the blank).
Everyone has all the reasons…the more you reject the excuses, the more successful you’ll be.
For whoever is stuck thinking that they cannot move the needle; whatever field you’re in, whatever you goal is, the top performer in that area has as many hours as you and probably more hardship than you if you really pull the veil back.
No time for excuses. Get focused and caffeinated and get to work making it happen.
When I don’t get the results I want I can pretty reasonably trace the cause back to a lack of consistency and hard work. I just gave up too early.
Keep going, hard work works…
Not your natural inclination… “fear” in this verse means “awe” and “respect”.
Honouring your Creator works best by design…like fuelling a car with the gas intended for it!
Fuelling your days with a counterfeit can not possibly succeed.
Ever think about how faking it is pushing other down and away?
Pursue God and his approval… not that of man!
Freedom for you and others!
My attitude is weak in reference to my scheduling and discipline. I have a negative attitude about my ability to go to bed early and get up as early as I’d like.
This results in laziness in the mornings and complacency around bedtime. Poor character traits.
Where is your attitude weak??
