DJK Goldsmiths
Finely crafted and made from precious materials, each piece is inspired by true west coast wilderness, from sea to sky.
Artisan Dennis Kangasniemi carries on a six generation tradition of hand skills and artistry that attracts collectors worldwide.
Dennis’ great grandfather Engelbert Kangasneimi is pictured here circa 1895 working at his jewellers bench in Ruovesi, Finland.
Engelbert’s father Ferdinand was also a jeweller in Finland in the mid 1800’s. Dennis’ father immigrated from Finland to Canada in 1956 and opened up his own studio “Jewels by Kangas”.
It was here that Dennis spent his youth learning traditional hand skills and today carries on an unbroken lineage of 6 generations in the jewellery arts 💎.
