Playoff season is here, and the stakes are higher than ever for hockey players who put their bodies on the line every time they hit the ice. In fact, according to a study by the Medical Journal, over 50% of NHL players missed at least one game due to injury each season.

That's not only a significant blow to the players but also costs the NHL 14.6 million US dollars for all of these missed games.
