Tuned into the Grammy’s just in time to catch Tracy Chapman play and sing ‘Fast Car’. I literally cried, sat with a grin and yelled “Oh my god, it’s really her!”
I love, love, love Tracy!! So many incredible memories in my late teens and many other years with her music. I know every word to almost all of her songs 🎶💜 (which is rare as I usually only remember the chorus) 😂

Day 14 of three things I am grateful for:
~ wonderfully kind neighbours who snowblow our driveway so my hubby doesn’t have to shovel
~ the chance to spend time and laugh with a family/friend today
~ arriving home safely from Toronto in this winter storm

I gave Samantha this momma bear to take on her travels so she can have me close. I asked her to take pics with it when she can. A little “please do this for your momma, so I know you’re thinking of me” guilt 😂 She did it!! 😂 My heart is full

I’m always sad when I have to take down my Christmas tree 🎄 So I’m going to put away the other decorations for now and hold off until New Year’s Day. I’ll be here every minute between now and then relaxing by it ❤️

It's official... our girl is moving to Australia! 🇦🇺

✈ Ticket purchased, hostel booked, list of pubs hiring bartenders/servers, and copies of resumes ready to go, and of course, she's got a packing list started.

This is the beginning of Samantha's dream to travel and work her way around the world. 🌏 January 9th can't come fast enough for her.

Not only do we turn the clocks back tomorrow, but you should also start sitting in front of your SAD/Sun/Happy lamp (whichever you like to call it).

If you don’t already have or use one I STRONGLY suggest you do. It’s been game- changing for me over the years in helping me not have the winter blues as much (barely at all).

I recommend it to my clients, friends, family, everyone I can.

Even if you don’t deal with seasonal affect disorder, depression, anxiety etc, we all suffer with the decrease of daily sunshine.

I got mine at Costco years ago, but I know they still have them. It’s the size of my iPad and I have it on when either doing my hair, or makeup, or reading a book or on the computer etc

Both COVID and Flu shots done at once!

Easy peasy at Costco. No line-up, was there 10 minutes at most.

Booked online Thursday evening and had next day appointment.

Our girl is home from school for a hot minute before heading off on her next adventure.
