Which we all must . These many months have been difficult. So with determination I feel we must continue to live our lives with kindness toward each other.

The Caged Bird
This bird was happy once in the high trees

Synnöve is not just beautiful, she is kind hearted, generous and oh so funny.
I remember the day she was born
It was bright sunny winter morning. Overnight it snowed, the world was clean and full of magic.
My daughter is just that magic.

while listening to (a horror anthology) I began a cutting a rooster. The podcast took me on a journey, at times cheering, then fearful for the characters. Twice .. no three times I cried out OH NOOO

Anyway the rooster which I had started sat waiting for my return. I eventually returned to the present time.
I feel my usual cocky and bold roosters, gave way to melancholy. He looks a wee sad.
Sad, but still a handsome bird.

Lest we Forget

Some weekend whimsy
Friendships can be usual. I know this to be a fact. In my recovery I have been privileged to know and become close friends with persons, persons that I never would have the opportunity to meet. Persons from different places, different lifestyles, different cultures,persons that society frowns upon.
The persons who knew I was broken, shattered by my addictions. They sat with me in my darkness, silently allowing my tears fall.

Every once in a while I long to fly high, with the ravens. to feel the magic. magic of mist in clouds, magic of thunderstorms, magic of knowing.

As a Raven is travelling to Toronto another begged for release from my papers.
