Well babes, not the outcome I had originally hoped for, but through the pandemic, working my real job, momming, allllll the things, I decided to take a step away from the shop for an indefinite amount of time to prioritize my mental health.

I won’t lie; I loved, and still love, creating but when this took a turn from “ohhh creative expression” to something I felt like I HAD to do, I knew it was time to re-asses.

Will we be back? Maybe! Will it be a short time? Long time? Indefinite hiatus? That I don’t know.

Hi friends, a note to let you know that while near and dear to my heart, I haven’t found enough time lately to devote to this creative venture. I’ve decided to take a little pause on the shop.

In light of this, I’m blowing out all prints on my website (www.blushstrokes.ca) for 30% OFF. There’s very limited quantities so if you’ve had your eye on something, now is the time!

I create for my mental health, so no doubt I’ll still do so, I just prefer this journey to be at my own pace rather than something I felt compelled to do.

Packing up an order while simultaneously toying with the idea of closing up shop for awhile 🙈.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t found much time lately to devote to this creative venture of mine. It’s heartbreaking. It’s humbling — you mean I can’t go wild on the side while also working a full time corporate job, while being a mama of a little, and a wife, friend, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt … (the list goes on)?!

Big dreams. Little time. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This custom triptych though…. 😍 // colors picked by a gf for a set of 3 large prints headed up her beautiful naturally lit stairwell (like, it’s actually gorgeous).

My originals can only be made smaller but I can always create custom digital prints that can be printed any size (exactly what we’re doing in this case).

Because I still melt a little inside when all of you send me pics of your framed prints - this particular one not only resonated with Ruby’s fam, but also the recipients fam whose sweet girl was born with a small hole in our heart // Sooo many of us have been grateful for the care received at . ❤️

Sending this little cutie off to her new home today ✨ // this was just a fun for me project and was meant just to get the creative vibes out there // oddly enough she resonated with a friend and I’m sooo excited to see her in her new space 🙌🏼
