I made a necklace for my Pa using a 34 million year old shark tooth fossil. 🦈

I was on the phone with him telling him about this cool fossil I picked up for myself in Newfoundland and he was like wow that would be a really cool hide necklace if you could get another eh. So, while I had him on the line, I wrapped it with sinew and made him something in his style.

I gave it to him at the powwow and he put it on right away. It felt like an appropriate gift 🎁 We used to watch so much discovery channel together. My first dream job was to become an archeologist. I had even gotten accepted at University of Ottawa to pursue my education in archeology.

I was vending yesterday. I set up with my cousin Magan and we were next to Mi'kmaq Tacos, deadlyyyyy. Harry took this picture of me lol

It was so windy, we spent most the day fixing and trying to hold down our junny canopy set up 🥲 but we did the best with what we had!

I woke up this morning super sick, so I stayed back. I wish I could have been there for Sunday. I hope everyone had a good time 🩵

I am leaving for St John's Fashion Week tomorrow and in a last attempt to raise a few extra bucks I'm lowering my price on my big framed piece. It was 495$, but I lowered it to 250$. EMT only. Taxes and shipping where applicable. It's made with a bunch of different beads, including genuine 925 silver brushed beads and it's mounted on cotton fabric, then on a frame with a little stand ❤️
