All Ontario workers should be safe and secure in their place of work. Regrettably, some are injured and killed while providing for their families. We remember all workers who have suffered on the job and strive to eliminate the family pain and loss from these work place incidents.

During a military trip to Israel, I visited Vad Vashem – the World Holocaust Remembrance Center. One cannot help but be reflective and angered at the inhumanity of the Holocaust and be dedicated to it never happening again.

Today, I completed my first 300 plus house canvass day in Old Ottawa East. A great day meeting residents. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with Julia Sneyd, the wife of the late Paul Dewar who served Ottawa Centre in Parliament so well. We had a great conversation about public service and encouraging participation in our political process.
