If you were at the Penny Stashick Ugly Sweater Walk, then you already heard the news: The ARH Foundation has officially launched the "Come Together Campaign" to raise funds for a CT Scan that will expand clinical services and give the community local access to life-saving diagnostic imaging.
The CT Scan will be FULLY funded by this community campaign.
CT scans are used by physicians to get more detailed internal images to inform diagnoses and treatment plans. Currently, patients in the ARH Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit who need more detailed imaging via CT scans require transportation and are referred to either Renfrew Victoria Hospital or Queensway Carleton Hospital, which can often involve nursing support for the trip and hospital visit.
We can all -C-ome -T-ogether to raise funds for this critical piece of equipment!
