Now that I'm rested and not so emotional and overwhelmed I can make a proper post! I just completed a 3-day training on ar**la reconstruction tattoo at Lara Jade Beauty! (You have probably noticed from the hundreds of photos LOL) This is something I've wanted to do for the last few years and finally decided to just go for it, and I'm so glad I did!

To be able to be part of someone's final step in their healing journey after they've been through so much trauma is an amazing gift. To help cancer survivors gain their confidence back. Help them feel more "normal" is such an amazing feeling!

To be able to help that person that has had top surgery gain their confidence or someone who has just had trauma gain their confidence is an amazing gift!

We were able to shadow my wonderful instructor from beginning to end on a double mastectomy client. To say it was an emotional experience is not even grasping the emotions that went through all of us that day! To see the joy in the client's face. To hear her say "oh my gosh they look like my breasts before this all happened". To hear her say I feel normal again. I love them!! Is an amazing feeling.
