Thank you to the fabulous group of quilters and their companions who joined us for a week in Alaska. You were enthusiastic, inspiring and a load of fun! We hope you learned a lot, laughed a lot and made wonderful memories!

And in one hour from now, we begin classes with our second group. Woohoo!!!

The Watergirl Story

Michelle (@watergirl_quilter) recently left her career as an elementary school French teacher to share her passion for quilting and her obsession with fabric. Watergirl Quilt Co. was inspired by Michelle’s grandmothers who lovingly created quilts and everyday necessities for their families. One of Michelle’s fondest memories, is of her Nanny mending a quilt while looking out the kitchen window of her Newfoundland home, watching the boats come and go in the harbour. Quilting is a family legacy and at Watergirl Quilt Co. we aim to be part of your family by providing the supplies and learning opportunites to flood you with new ideas!
