I am excited to announce that I will now be offering genealogy services through The Homegrown Hippie.

I am a Registered Nurse and have worked in community and occupational health for most of my career. After almost 32 years in healthcare I have been thinking of ways to continue to serve people while pursuing things that bring me the most joy❤🙌.

I began pursuing genealogy and ancestry research as a hobby about 7 yrs ago. The funny thing is, that my interest in researching my ancestors and seeing the types of illnesses and communicable diseases that caused their deaths, actually is one of the things that spurred me to pursue a Masters in Public Health in 2015 (along with looking for something that would merge my community and occupational health experience). I completed a certificate in genealogy in 2020.

I will be offering support to clients to build their family trees and pedigrees or assist them to expand existing family trees.

Since I began this adventure last fall, I have had some new and exciting opportunities come my way and have even been asked to assist with a cold case file 😳(another one of my interests being a true crime buff😉) and work on some joint research projects! Over the past few months I have also completed some work on family trees and pedigrees for clients and can provide results via digital media or a hard copy booklet.

Free virtual consultations are available and hopefully, one day soon, I will be able to invite clients to my business area in my home.

The Homegrown Hippie will also continue to offer vegan items from Main Vegan Deli, expanding the Chatham inventory in 2021 and continue to support other small businesses in the future as well🤩.
