ManWoman had the skill of transforming a painting or concept into a 3D sculpture. Sometimes it took months but in the end the product was glorious...The original Jesus Christ lunch bucket was chromed - his 3D sculpture was the size of a large steamer truck, painted bright almost full chroma yellow his favorite color which signified sunshine, enlightenment. Many times we'd stop his VW van for a twenty minute mediation which really helped driving long distances & hours.
Watching ManWoman create a painting through the lens of my camera was just pure magic revealed. Some paintings took months. His creative process came from his dreams which he wrote in his journals every morning before the day began.
It's so wonderful to listen to first time screeners of my film on ManWoman & The Paperbag Catholix.
