Always, the collaborative spirit is alive and well in our communities and it is heartening to see everyone working together to present innovative solutions that benefit our kids, families, businesses, and the environment.

Thank you to all presenters and PA Michael Parsa and Region of Waterloo Chair Redman for joining us tonight.

Wow - Our Accelerated Build Pilot program was designed to find ways to get built in record time. This home took just 13 MONTHS vs YEARS for a typical build!

Our Accelerated Build Pilot program was designed to find ways to get built in record time. This home took just 13 MONTHS vs YEARS for a typical build!

We saw we could deliver more long-term care beds, faster with a new approach and that's what we've done.

New schools and childcare spaces coming to Breslau and SW Kitchener!

As a parent and parliamentarian, I was thrilled to join Minister Stephen Lecce to announce that the Ontario government is investing $45.8 million for three new schools and new child care spaces in Waterloo Region. This investment will support the creation of 1,665 elementary student spaces and 234 childcare spaces. Overall, great news that will provide more choice and flexibility for families and new opportunities for the children in our communities. This government has made record investments to make up for those shortfalls since day one.

The previous Liberal government purposely underfunded healthcare to help keep budget costs down according to Kathleen Wynne from a McLean's magazine interview earlier this month. This government has made record investments to make up for those shortfalls since day one.

On the farm.

All of Ontario’s Farmers take great pride in the work they do to feed our communities. Our local Chicken Farmers of Ontario are no exception! I was very lucky to tour Scott’s farm this week and see how much dedication goes into every bit of his operation.

Today I tabled the Police Services Amendment Act, 2021, which, if passed, will extend the eligibility of the Queen’s Commission to municipal police and First Nations Constables. Currently, only OPP officers may qualify for the award, which is granted for exceptional service.
