As many of you already know - I had a baby boy this past May, becoming a mom again after already raising my daughter who is now 20 and on her own has been the HUGEST blessing! It hasn’t been without a roller coaster ride of emotions though…
4 days after I was home with my son I had to call an ambulance for my mom as she was having chest pains and unable to breathe, in that moment mine and my brother would begin to experience one of the hardest losses of our lives.
My mom (her name was Deborah) would remain in the hospital for a week and even show HUGE signs of improvement at one point but was unfortunately short lived. She died almost exactly a week after she was admitted to the hospital.
My son (Lakelyn) looks soooooooo much like my mom (ESPECIALLY his eyes) that I swear she’s in him.
My return to music has taken much longer than I originally had planned. My mom was so proud of my brother and I for building something together and supporting each other - she didn’t even like our genre of music but she made sure to still show everyone and share everything we posted. I think it’s time to come back and do what we originally set out to do - change the world with love and through resonating with the music.
We all experience set backs and at some point in life experience a great loss. It’s not about how many times we fall but about how many times we can rise again! One day at a time and one step forward at a time…

Sooooo we (The KarmaMGT Family) have been organizing our very first show! Sooooooo proud of this young woman right here (my opinion may seem biased because she’s my only child but it isn’t biased at all she’s worked hard and is consistently trying to learn) Recently she went to spend some time with her uncle and he was teaching her how to make a beat - she picked it up very quickly as of she’s a natural. Lilly Aka Lil L is also an artist and a gifted writer too.
Watch out for her because this young woman will be doing GREAT things, there’s NO DOUBT in my mind or any of our teams minds…
