I’m looking for an experienced dog owner who can help me settle into my new environment with lots of positive reinforcement. I’m a big boy, so would be best suited to a home with older children or teenagers, without any cats or small critters.”

It's dudes! Meet Charlie, a 6 year old adoptable Australian Cattle Dog! He's been with our buds at since December. Could you be Charlie's new best friend? Hit the Calgary Humane Society link in our bio to learn more about Charlie and set up a meet and greet.

"Hi, I'm Charlie, and I'm looking for the perfect retirement home! My favourite things are walks, naps, and cuddles, and my foster family called me "a lovely, lovely gentleman" who is "perfect for the person who wants low-key, but still enjoys neighbourhood strolls." Does that sound like you? If you have another pup in the home, that might be okay with me, as long as they're calm and polite - we can set up a meet-and-greet to see if we get along. That said, I don't like all dogs (just like you probably don't like all people!), so off-leash parks are off-limits to me. That shouldn't be a problem - we can enjoy lots of nice walks together! I would also likely benefit from a dental diet to keep my smile nice and shiny. As you can see, I'm sure cute, but I'm even cuter in person - so make an appointment to meet me and see for yourself!
