The Goulds Library will be open this evening, 7-9pm! Feel free to drop by and look through our selection of books.

Have books to donate? Tonight would be a good time to drop them off! We are looking for popular authors, NL books, Children and youth books, and French books for all ages. All books must be in good shape!

We cannot take encyclopedia's, damaged books, school books, magazines or outdated literature.

Starting this Monday! Sept. 9th! This is the oldest running program at Goulds Rec and it is still going strong! We have a great workout and have a lot of fun! Give it a try! Your first class is free!!!!

We have lost and found items at the Rec Centre from our summer programs. There will be someone in the building between 9am and 12:30pm and then 1:30pm and 5pm today, Thursday and Friday. If you think your child may have item(s) left here, please drop by to have a look! Next week, we will be giving all remaining items to charity. Thanks!

It’s never easy saying goodbye! We are so proud of our counselors this summer! We are so lucky to have each and everyone! Every year we have counselors who move on and it’s never easy to say goodbye, but you will always be a part of the Goulds Rec Family ❤️.

Staff enjoying some food before they put on their dancing shoes! Dance is 7-9! So far it’s going to be on the tennis courts! Dress warm!

All the kids are back from Riverdale and Whee! They had a great time!

Bouncy castles are ready for our youngest participants! 3-3:45. Lucas and Grace made sure they were working good!

Both groups had a blast at Bowring Park and Bannerman Park. They are onto their next stop! Counselor Chris and the others got it all under control! Check lists, first aid kits and keeping a close eye on all!

Summer blast has begun! They are off to their first stops!

Summer Blast registration is now closed. Due to the amount of planning for this event, we are unable to take anymore for the event.
The dance Friday evening 7-9pm on the tennis courts is open to anyone from the community, ages 6-12. Those not attending the day events, entrance to the dance will be $5.
Those registered for the full day, you will receive an email tomorrow containing all the details!

TENNIS will be in the goulds arena at 10am today, due to the tennis court being wet.

Registration is now open to the public for the Goulds Rec Summer Blast taking place August 23rd (Next Friday). Open to children ages 6-12 years. $25/child. Below is the link to register. 6-9 age group is for those turning 6, 7, 8 or 9 in 2024. 10-12 age group is for those turning 10, 11 or 12 in 2024. If you have confirmed a spot through the link, the $25 will need to be transferred to [email protected] to hold your child's spot. Please ensure you place your child's name and BLAST in the message section of the transfer.

Please DO NOT send payment if your only option through the link is Waitlist.

If you would like more info on this event, please email [email protected]. We will have a max of 180 participants for this event, 22 summer counselors + approved volunteers!

Those choosing to attend the DANCE ONLY do not need to register for summer blast. They can attend the dance portion, $5 at the door.

If your child is attending our summer camp week 9, your child is already registered and paid for summer blast. Please do not register with the link.
