Cocktail Meatballs
2.2 lbs. (1kg) lean ground beef
1 tsp. Oh! So Garlic
1 tsp. Oh! So Onion
¾ tsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt
¾ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
½ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup water
2 eggs
¾ cup Sunset Gourmet’s Smoky Sweet Grilling Sauce
¼ cup Smoky Chipotle Honey Mustard
Mix all seasonings and bread crumbs in a large bowl, add water and eggs. Mix well and add ground beef, mix until all seasonings have been evenly distributed, do not over-mix. Form into small meatballs bake in the oven at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Place meatballs in an ovenproof casserole dish. Combine Sunset Gourmet’s Smoky Sweet Grilling Sauce and Smoky Chipotle Honey Mustard. Pour sauce over meatballs and cook for another 45 minutes. You can also use a slow cooker to cook the meatballs in the sauce.

Here is a tasty appetizer to start your Thanksgiving meal with!
Bacon-Wrapped Brussels Sprouts
24 small Brussels sprouts, or regular-sized, cut in half
12 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 teaspoon Chili Lime Seasoning
Smoky Chipotle Honey Mustard
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil. Clean and trim the ends of Brussels sprouts. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, and Chili Lime Seasoning. Lay bacon strips out flat and brush each one with syrup mixture. Place a Brussels sprout on each piece of bacon and roll the bacon around it. Secure with a toothpick and place seam side down on the baking sheet. Brush the tops with the remaining syrup mixture. Bake until crispy about 30-40 minutes. Remove the toothpicks and place Brussels sprouts in a serving dish with Smoky Chipotle Honey Mustard for dipping.

Prepare Fruit & Berry Crumble Mix as per directions on box, using sliced apples as your fruit.
For the Salted Caramel Sauce:
• 1 pkg. Salted Caramel Dip & Dessert Mix
• 1/4 cup water
• 3/4 cup heavy cream
• 3 Tbsp. butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
Heat Salted Caramel Dip & Dessert Mix and water in a small saucepan over medium heat until sugar melts. Continue cooking and stirring until it turns amber in colour, then whisk in heavy cream. Bring to a full boil, then reduce temperature to a slow rolling boil and continue boiling and stirring for 5-6 minutes, until sauce is smooth and slightly thickens. Stir in butter and vanilla. Serve warm or chilled over prepared Apple Crumble.

Creamy Fettuccine with Chicken
• 1 box (340 g) fettuccine or linguine
• 2 chicken breasts, cut into 2 " strips
• 2 Tbsp. Fresh Harvest Garlic Olive Oil
• 1 Tbsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt
• Black pepper
• 1 pkg. Cheesy Spinach & Bacon Dip Mix
• 1/2 cup chicken stock or white wine
• 1 cup cream
• 1/3 cup pasta water
• ½ cup Parmesan cheese
• Fresh parsley (optional)
Cook pasta according to package directions while the chicken is cooking. Season chicken with Sunset Seasoned Salt and pepper. Over medium-high heat add oil to a large skillet, cook chicken in oil until no longer pink; set aside. Using the same skillet add cream, wine, dip mix, and Parmesan cheese; simmer on low for 10 minutes, add pasta water if too thick. Add cooked chicken and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over freshly cooked pasta and top with chopped fresh parsley.

Summertime cooking with Sunset Gourmet is so easy, breezy and just simply delicious!

Happy Salad Sunday!
Here is a treat for your taste buds...
Pear, Spinach & Blue Cheese Salad
6 cups baby spinach, rinsed
2 pears, sliced
½ cup blue or Feta cheese, crumbled
1/3 cup pine nuts
Dressing
2 Tbsp. Meyer Lemon Infused Olive Oil
3 Tbsp. Peach Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tbsp. liquid honey
Salt & pepper
Mix all dressing ingredients in a small bowl, whisk and set aside. Place spinach in a salad bowl, add dressing and toss to combine. Add cheese, pear and pine nuts. Gently toss again and serve.

Slider Spread
1/3 cup Blooming Onion Horseradish Dip
1/3 cup Sunset Gourmet’s Smoky Sweet Grilling Sauce
Mix well and use as a slider spread. Also delicious on burgers or hot dogs.

Sweet Hickory Smoky BBQ Ribs
2-3 racks baby-back pork ribs
2 tsp. Sweet Hickory BBQ Rub & Seasoning
2 tsp. Oh! So Garlic
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
½ cup Sunset Gourmet’s Smoky Sweet Grilling Sauce
Rinse & dry ribs: trim extra bits of fat and tissue. Remove the membrane covering the concave, inner side of each rack. Cover each rack liberally with Sweet Hickory BBQ Rub & Seasoning and sprinkle with Oh! So Garlic. Wrap ribs tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours or preferably overnight. Remove wrap and place ribs on a preheated, oiled grill and cook slowly on low heat for 1 1/2 hours (lid closed). Brush with Sunset Gourmet’s Smoky Sweet Grilling Sauce and continue cooking for another 20 minutes.

Back for a limited time - our Smoky Sweet BBQ Cheeseball & Dip Mix gives this potato salad and new & exciting flavour profile!
Smoky Sweet Potato Salad
2 lbs. mini red or white potatoes
3 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1 cup cooked bacon, diced
1/3 cup parsley, chopped
Spinach & Herb Mix, for garnish
1 cup prepared Smoky Sweet BBQ Cheeseball & Dip Mix
(mix 1 packet with 1 cup sour cream and 1 cup mayonnaise. Use left-overs for a veggie dip)
Cut potatoes into quarters and cook until fork tender. Place in a large serving bowl, add remaining ingredients and toss with Smoky Sweet BBQ Dip. Refrigerate for several hours before serving. Garnish with a sprinkle of Spinach & Herb Mix over top.

Sweet N’ Spicy Stuffed Peppers
1 lb. (.454 kg.) ground beef
1 tsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt
1 box Sweet N’ Spicy Peach Jalapeno Cheeseball Mix (use both mix and topping)
1/2 cup medium salsa
•2 cups cooked rice
425 g can tomato sauce
6 large bell peppers
1 cup shredded cheese
Brown ground beef with Sunset Seasoned Salt; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Wash peppers, cut off tops and seed. Place peppers in a greased casserole dish. Fill each pepper with meat mixture. Cover; bake at 350°F for 35 minutes or until peppers are soft.

Our Customer Favourite Spinach & Herb Mix helps you create this Quiche that is simple to make and incredibly delicious to eat! Stock up, because our Spinach & Herb Mix is back for a limited time only!
Deliciously Easy Quiche
9" pie crust
4 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup heavy cream
1 tsp. Oh! So Onion
1 Tbsp. Spinach & Herb Mix
1 tsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt
Black pepper
Six slices bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
Preheat oven to 350°F. Partially pre-bake pie crust before adding filling - bake crust for 8-10 minutes, remove from oven. In a medium size bowl whisk eggs, add milk, cream and seasonings. Place bacon and cheese in the bottom of the pre-baked pie shell and pour egg mixture over top of the fillings. Bake for 40 minutes until egg mixture is set and knife inserted into the centre comes out clean. Let quiche sit 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with a few additional shakes of Spinach & Herb Mix.

It’s Salad Sunday!

This easy Caprese Salad is big on delicious flavour because it features our Fig Balsamic Vinegar, which is back for a limited time only! Enjoy!

15-20 cherry tomatoes, cut in half
170 g fresh mozzarella, cubed (or sub with feta cheese)
7-8 fresh basil leaves, chopped
3 Tbsp. Fig Balsamic Vinegar

Place tomatoes, cheese and basil on a serving plate, drizzle with Fig Balsamic Vinegar.

Smoky Sweet BBQ Cheeseball & Dip Mix 🥰 we are so happy to welcome you back! You are so versatile and add a terrific smoky-sweet flavour to summer dishes!
Makes the BEST Nuts & Bolts snack mix seasoning. Perfect for summer movie night!
Mix 1 package with sour cream for a baked potato topper.
Mix 1 package with 1 brick (250g) cream cheese and pipe into cherry tomatoes and celery sticks.
For a creamy potato salad dressing recipe, mix 1 package with ¾ cup mayonnaise and ½ cup milk.
Add to mashed potatoes.
Make a warm dip by combining 1 pkg. dip mix with 1 brick (250g) cream cheese and 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise. Mix well, heat and top with bacon bits before serving.
