Technology - not taxes. Canada knows how to design, build, and implement nuclear technology. Energy to boost our economy and move us forward ⚛️
Who needs Jamaica? We live in the most beautiful country on the most beautiful island in the world. Much to be thankful for this year and looking forward to 2024. Happy New Year!
Pierre Poilievre taking notice of the struggles of Cape Bretoners.
After 8 years of Trudeau, Canadians can't afford to eat, heat and house themselves.
Conservatives will force around-the-clock voting to block Trudeau’s inflationary spending & force him to axe the tax for farmers, First Nations & families for good.
Putting the finishing touch on a perfect weekend to kick off the holiday season with the Sydney Santa Claus parade. 🎅🎄
“A home is at the centre of everything you do in your life. If the government stands in the way of you getting a home it stands in the way of your entire life moving forward.” 🏡
Christmas is coming! The kids and I went to see the big guy at the Nutcracker Festival in downtown Sydney. Thanks to all the local businesses and vendors for braving the rain and thank you to Downtown Sydney for putting on such a great community event. 🎅
4/5 Atlantic Canadians want the carbon tax pause on home heating oil to extend to all home heating.
Are Mike Kelloway, Jaime Battiste, and the Trudeau government listening?
We must not forget the sacrifice made by those who serve - past and present. Today we thank them and honour them. Lest we forget.
Family wood day 🪵 Heating a home for a Cape Breton winter is hard enough. We don’t need a tax to make it harder. for good.
We had a great time at Halloween in Downtown Sydney. Thank you to all the local businesses who participated and a big shout out to Downtown Sydney for organizing.
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and they make community events like this possible.
After voting against the Conservative motion to remove Justin Trudeau’s tax on home heating oil last year, the Liberals (including Jaime Battiste and Mike Kelloway) have finally agreed to hold off on a carbon tax on home heating oil for only three years.
What happens in three years? The tax is back on and you’re paying more for heat. You’ve also spent the last three years paying the same carbon tax on gas to drive to your job.
Give Cape Bretoners some credit. We can see what’s coming and we want to for good.
The rule of law is central to a functioning democracy.
This week one of our MPs, Mike Kelloway, voted in favour of blocking the testimony of the head of the RCMP in the SNC-Lavalin / Trudeau Investigation.
The Liberals and the NDP may block the testimony, but they can’t stop the votes of millions of Canadians in the next election. 🗳
Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband, Steve. Nine years, two kids, two old houses, a few businesses. Life with you is never dull ♥️

Pierre Poilievre was in Truro yesterday - 700 people showed up to support his tour. Nova Scotians are ready for change. Cape Bretoners are ready for change.
Let's bring back common sense government.🗳
Bill C-18 has become law. It requires platforms like Google and Meta (Facebook) to pay media outlets for each time a user shares a link to their content. Facebook will no longer allow news content because of the high and uncontrollable cost associated with the links.
This hurts independent Canadian media. It limits the free flow of information - which is central to a healthy democracy.
Bill C-18 and Bill C-11 are the latest in the Liberal government's attempts to control what Canadians see online. Digital freedom is the new frontier of democracy and we need to fight for it.
Got out for the Sydney Kidney Walk today in support of The Kidney Foundation of Canada - Nova Scotia. Congratulations to the organizers on exceeding their fundraising goal!

What a beautiful day to celebrate Philippine Independence Day in downtown Sydney. Thank you to the Filipino Association for inviting me to talk about the power of entrepreneurship.
Some awesome Filipino businesses like Sweet Bakes by Jailou and Isla Kusina made sure nobody left hungry.
We headed to the woods today to get some much needed outside time with Grampy. His wisdom: the bugs aren’t a as bad in the tractor.
How does Justin Trudeau expect people to pay their bills now?
Interest rates jumped again by another .25% - to 4.75%
Cape Bretoners are already struggling. The key to stopping inflation is to stop inflationary government spending.
