Looks fun!
It's a shame that this work hasn't been prioritized by the Liberal government. For those interested in more information, please check out Yukon T1D Support Network
This is awesome.
I was honoured to attend the Remembrance Day ceremony in Watson Lake this year alongside MLA Patti McLeod. Following the ceremony the Watson Lake Signpost Seniors hosted a wonderful luncheon for all the attendees.
The door has been opened to changes to the federal carbon tax policy, and hopefully an approach that reflects the needs of the Yukon and the Canadian North.
Nice evening at the Diwali Gala with Yukon’s growing Indian community! 🪔🎉

Last night was the opening ceremonies of the 17th season of the Filipino Canadian Basketball League in Whitehorse. I was happy to say a few words of encouragement to players, organizers and fans. Of course I gave a special shout out to the team I sponsor!
Yukoners have been hit hard by rising costs.
Do you agree that Yukoners need a break?
Earlier this week the Yukon advisory committee on Missing and Murdered Indigenous women, girls, and 2S+ people held its second accountability forum in Whitehorse. Important work that I was honoured to participate in.
Like many Canadians I was shocked to see the terrifying and violent attacks on Israel this weekend. This unprovoked violence must be condemned as the acts of terrorism that they so clearly are.
My heart goes out to the people of Israel and particularly the men, women, and children that were victims of these barbarous attacks.
I stand with Israel as it responds to, and defends itself from these acts of terrorism.
MLA Wade Istchenko and I had a great tour up the north Alaska Highway yesterday. We visited with a number of people in Beaver Creek, before coming back south to Destruction Bay, where we hosted a community meeting. The fall colours and views were amazing.
Scott Kent - MLA Copperbelt South and I had a great time attending the Marsh Lake Community Fall Festival yesterday at the Marsh Lake Community Centre! There were vendors, food, activities for all ages, and wonderful entertainment. Most importantly the weather was amazing and the community came out big time.
Great turn out in Marsh Lake yesterday for their Fall Festival!

Thank you to all the military families across our country!
Congratulations to the City of Whitehorse on the official opening of the new pump track at the Winze Park in Copper Ridge! As a resident of, and MLA for this neighborhood I know that many families will benefit from this fantastic recreational infrastructure. Great to see the Mayor out there testing it out herself too!
It is a privilege to host parliamentarians, legislators, and Auditors General from across the country for the 44th annual conference of the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees in Whitehorse.
As the discussion panel moderator for national defence, I’d like to thank the expert commentators who participated, including the Yukon’s own Ken Coates.
To all conference visitors, welcome to Whitehorse!
Do you think home heating fuel should be exempt from the carbon tax?
Alberta cut their fuel tax to help keep costs down for consumers.
Cutting ours would put over $9 million back in Yukoners’ pockets.
This year's Street Eats is still well underway in Downtown Whitehorse!
There are several food trucks offering a wide variety of lunch options, as well as regular concerts and roaming performers! Check it out today and tomorrow until 7:00 p.m. on Steele St, Front St, and Main Street Square.
Thanks to the City of Whitehorse and all the vendors for putting on this tasty festival!
The cultural diversity of the Yukon was on display last night in Whitehorse! The Whitehorse Malayali Association hosted a wonderful event to share the cultures and traditions of Kerala. The Malayali people come from the state of Kerala in southern India and are one of the fastest growing communities in the Yukon; it was great to learn more about their culture and traditions!

Yukon roadways are seeing the return of school buses.
Motorists and all Yukoners need to be extra cautious around school buses at all times.
