Since October, Lisa has brought a wealth of experience and passion to the Dana Lakehead Orillia team as our Breakfast cook! 🍳 It's safe to say that Lisa has shown that it's the best meal of the day!

Caring for people through food is a heartfelt commitment for Lisa, stating, “I talk to them the way I would want my daughter to be talked to. I want them to feel cared for with food the same way I care for people in my life." 🫶

Her culinary journey is one for the books! Since the pandemic, Lisa has transitioned from her role as an English teacher and PSW to diverse culinary positions. She's served as a Food Expeditor and Assembler, a beloved cook at a retirement home for 37 people, a fast-paced line cook at Fionn MacCools, and proudly worked alongside Gordon Ramsay in a pop-up at Kensington Market with her son! 👀🙌

Outside of work, Lisa finds solace in her hobbies as an avid concert-goer and an experienced online auction buyer with an eye for unique treasures! Her passion for cooking extends to experimenting with plant-based dishes. As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, Lisa challenges herself to put everything into her food, stating, “I wouldn’t put out a dish that I wouldn’t be excited to eat myself!” 🤌

Originally from the coastal charm of Viña del Mar, Chile, Rodrigo is a Dana culinary virtuoso with a legacy of 9 flavorful years in the kitchen! Recently joining the Dana Lakehead Orillia team as a Lead Cook, he showcased his delectable creations at the latest Public House Pop Up. 🙌

His latest milestone? Scoring his first toe-tapping hockey goal just a few days ago! Plus, his nighttime gig as a DJ adds a beat to his diverse talents. 🏒🎧

His heart belongs to Spaghetti Bolognese, just like grandma used to make it before his hockey games. 🍝 Although, Empanadas de Pino (Chilean Beef Patty) and a glass of red wine hit the spot! 🍷
