🍋💦Tanner's 2nd Annual Lemonade Stand & Dunk Tank Fundraiser💦🍋

Pinnacle Pool was happy to host Tanner's 2nd annual lemonade stand and dunk tank fundraiser for our furry friends at Oshawa Animal Service Center . With all of his hard work and dedication Tanner doubled the donations made from last year with a total of $800!

Huge thank you to our other sponsors 2 Bro's Plumbing and Caremore Landscaping for their help with covering the costs of the dunk tank as well as matching the donations collected for a grand total of $1,600!

We were surprised by a special guest and the sweetest boy, Bramwell🐕, from the animal shelter who came out to show his support. He loved seeing everyone and was wonderful with kids. He is looking for his forever home and would be an amazing addition to any family.

We are extremely grateful and appreciative for every one who supported Tanner's Event and helped make it a success for such a great cause.

It’s true – it seems like swimming for leisure has been enjoyed by cultures from all over the world for millennia. Ancient wall drawings in Egypt dating back to 2500 BC depict people swimming, specifically using an over-arm stroke comparable to the front crawl. Swimming was something the noble folk enjoyed, with swimming lessons for young royal children being encouraged. While some suggest the common folk would practice swimming in the River Nile (though it’s contentious, as the Nile was infested with dangerous animals), royals and noblemen enjoyed swimming in private swimming pools in their palaces.
