June is Filipino Heritage Month. It is a time to celebrate and recognize the rich cultural traditions and significant contributions of the Filipino community. Let's take this time to engage with and appreciate the vibrant heritage, enduring spirit, and unique experiences of the Filipino community.
June is National Indigenous History Month. It is a time to reflect upon and honour the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. This month invites a commitment to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue aimed at reconciliation and building a more equitable future. Let us approach this time with respect and openness, ready to celebrate the enduring heritage and the vibrant cultures of Indigenous peoples.
June is Pride Month. It is observed globally as a time to honour the progress and ongoing struggles of the 2SLGBTQ* community. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of equality, the right to love, and the celebration of identity. Let's commit to building a society that upholds the dignity and humanity of every individual.
