The Creignish Hills

I guess almost everybody can remember the old house on the foot of the Creignish Mountain. It was a bit hidden behind the big poplar trees, elevated sitting above Route 19. A house with history.
Unfortunately we couldn't save it, time had left its mark and there was no way to fix it. But as with all things the memory remains. What memories do you have of the house on the mountain?
