RMTs, chiropractors & physiotherapists can operate during COVID-19 - so why can't osteopaths? - 640 Toronto - Omny.fm 10/04/2021

Such a great explanation of the unfortunate situation my profession has been put in multiple times during COVID. Take a listen if you're interested. Hopefully soon we will have the recognition we deserve as health care practitioners whom have clients that rely on us to maintain their health.

Great question to be asking is why our clients are denied access to their Osteopathy treatments that are completely covered under extended health benefit plans.... 🤔🤔🤔🧐

Hi Everyone!

Once again (as many of you know) OMPs (osteopathic manual practitioners) are out of work and unable to help their clients in need. OMPs are considered an essential service in Quebec and Manitoba, yet not in Ontario. This is confusing for clients as physios, chiros, and massage therapists are considered essential. I feel horrible having to say no to my clients as many of them are suffering in the process. Additionally, as a small business owner, this is crippling.

Please sign and share, it would be greatly appreciated!

As we are all settling into the New Year, I'm sure some of us are asking how we got ourselves where we are. It could be somewhere we didn't intend, or somewhere we intended, but no longer is where we want to be.

This can be true in many aspects of our lives, including our physical and mental health. Frequently, I have clients who are down on themselves for letting their bodies get to the state that they are in. I tell them they have the power to make a change, make small steps along the way, and assist them in the process. Time to stop looking back and take charge of our futures.

Welcome change, embrace it, and above all else, take care of yourself.

I've had many questions in clinic about what it is that Manual Osteopaths do. Mainly, i'm asked if we primarily focus on bones since the word "osteo" can mean "relating to the bones".

I'm happy to say we do treat bones, and a whole lot more! Swipe to see a more detailed answer.🤓I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
