There is only so much you can say about a child who only lived for 7 years. Brady didn’t have any outstanding achievements. He didn’t even meet most of his major milestones and the ones he did meet were taken back as his disease progressed. There was no consolation that he had lived a good long life.
In every way, shape and form, Brady’s life was a tragedy. And yet, out of those short 7 years he made a huge impact. How he lived, always smiling, always laughing. How he loved, giving hugs and kisses to everyone he met. How he handled the progression of his disease, never complaining, that is what makes him such an inspiration.
So today, on his 15th birthday, we remember him as the beautiful little boy he was. We celebrate him and the inspiration he continues to be. We honour him by supporting families caring for children with rare, life-limiting diseases.
Happy Birthday Brady.

This is a Rifton Activity Chair, it is our most requested piece of equipment.
This chair is perfect for feeding, speech therapy and active learning. It is fully customizable with different supports and features so each child can have the most comfortable chair and avoid injuries, sores and pressure points.
The most important feature of this chair is that it allows the child to participate in the classroom activities and family meals. It increases their quality of life greatly in all aspects and we are so proud to be able to supply this equipment to families.

Today we celebrate this beautiful boy's 14th birthday.
The Brady's Foundation board has worked hard all year and with the help of amazing volunteers and the generosity of our donors I am so proud to say that our gift to Brady this year was granting over $15,000 to families caring for children with rare, life-limiting diseases.
These grants helped fund a cough assist machine, hospital bed, specialty stroller, activity chair and medications that are going to help these children have the highest quality of life.

Meet Brady, the inspiration for Brady's Foundation for Pediatric Palliative Care.
Brady was diagnosed with Battens Disease when he was 4 years old. Battens Disease is a rare neurodegenerative disease, and currently there is no cure. He passed away in 2016 when he was just 7 years old.
Anyone who knew Brady would say that he was so brave, so loving, and gave the best hugs and kisses. It was witnessing his struggles and learning from families in similar situations that sparked the need for this charity.
Brady's Foundation is dedicated to supporting families caring for children with life-limiting diseases. We want to get them the equipment and supplies they need when they need them to help reduce their stress and give their children the best quality of life, for as long as we can.
