THE HARMONIC CONVERGENCE OF VENUS, SIRIUS AND GROUND ZERO OF THE MAYA LONG COUNT

According to the vast majority of applications, calculators scholars and researchers on Maya calendrics, TODAY marks the completion of 5135 years from the “Ground Zero date” or ALPHA Point of the Mayan Long Count, corresponding to vigesimal marker 0.0.0.0.0 4 Ajaw, 8Kumk'u and correlated to the Gregorian calendar date of August 11,-3114 (3113 BC).

The completion of this new solar orbit from this “Zero Point" in time, is enshrined, once again, by a masterful fractal synchronization sequence of nested cycles within cycles of time between Sirius (the brightest star in the night sky) and Venus (the brightest planet in the night sky). How is this?

5135 YEARS FROM GROUND ZERO OF THE MAYA LONG COUNT

As there is still an ongoing discussion around the exactitude of this date, we will examine the different views on this fascinating subject by Jose Arguelles and John Major Jenkins, two of the most respected authors on Maya studies, who unfortunately are no longer with us, but whose work is still TODAY very relevant, as it provides a historic context and a cosmological perspective that can enlarge and enrich our perceptions of the times we are living on planet Earth:

"Time doesn’t have an end, but it does have a middle — so say the modern Quiche Maya. And that middle, always, is located right dead center in the Now. A calendar, however, is not time, in the same way that a map is not the territory. As philosopher Ken Wilber said, “It ’s fatal to confuse the two.

The 13-Baktun cycle of the Long Count calendar has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Its beginning or “ zero date ” (August 11, 3114 BC) does not indicate when the system was invented. That date was a back calculation made thousands of years later by the creators of the Long Count. Similarly, the end date in 2012 was a forward calculation. Together, the alpha and omega of Maya time philosophy delineate a World Age lasting 5,125.36 years. That’s 1,872,000 days, to be exact.”

"Scholars quibble about the exact date that the Mayan Great Cycle began. Some say August 13, others August 11, yet others August 6, 3113 B.C. Of course, the date August 6 is interesting because it is the date the Chinese commemorated as the midpoint between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox. It is also the acknowledged date of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. In any case, it is almost exactly 5,100 years ago that the planet entered the galactic synchronization beam. It is only some 26 years from this writing that the planet leaves the beam.

But what is this beam? How do we describe it? What does it synchronize and how? In Mayan terms, this beam, the Great Cycle, measures 5,200 tun in diameter. In terms of kin or days, a tun consists of 360 kin/days each, or five days short of a vague solar year. An actual solar year is 365.2422 days. Thus 5,200 tun equals 5,125 vague solar years or 1,872,000 days.

As we have emphasized, the Mayan concern was with calibrating an equivalence between the calendar marking Earth's solar passage and the actual galactic harmonic. The 5,200-tun cycle represents a fractal of the 52-unit key, the Loom of Maya, synthesizing the galactic harmonic. As a fractal, the 5,200-tun cycle can be broken into 260 units of 20 tun each called katuns, and 13 units of 400 tun each called baktuns. While the key harmonic number of a tun is 360 kin and the katun is 7,200 kin, the baktun is 144,000 kin. It is very important to keep in mind that Mayan numbers are multi-dimensional. Their translation into days or years does not mean that the numbers cease being operational for other factors or values. The cycle of history as a 5,200-tun diameter harmonic wave-pattern is but one slice of a multi-dimensional galactic hologram.” […]

MAYA LONG COUNT SYNCHRONIZATION
On the Indigenous/Traditional Maya count, the completion of this milestone also corresponds to a harmonic node intersection between the Long Count and the Sacred count of 260 DAYS. How is this?

On the Long Count system this 5135-YEAR milestone corresponds to the date 13.0.9.14.0 1 Ajaw, 13 Yaxk'in'.

On the Dresden Codex of the Ancient Maya, the day 1 Ajaw is presented as the most Sacred Day of Venus. According to the research of author and Maya scholar John Major Jenkins, 1 Ajaw used to signal the rising of Venus as Morning Star every 104 Years, to complete ONE Sacred Venus Round. In 104 years Venus completes 13 Pentagrams. These 13 Star Pentagrams correspond to 65 Earth + Venus conjunctions and 169 (13×13) Venus orbits around the sun. 169-65=104 (VENUS ROUND FREQUENCY)

Jenkins transcended this dimension PRECISELY on KIN 40 1 Sun on the Dreamspell count (July 2, 2017).

This fractal synchronization is then a PERFECT opportunity to revisit TODAY ONE of his most profound contributions to the integration and preservation of Maya Cosmology and the : a short article entitled “The Mayan Venus Calendar and the Golden Proportion”.

“The Mayan Venus Calendar – this is what my latest study is all about. It is called Tzolkin: Visionary Perspectives and Calendar Studies . I’ll try to give an overview of this complicated subject, and then answer the inevitable question: “So what?”

The ancient Maya tracked the morning star risings of Venus, which occur every 584 days. Venus was the centerpiece of Mayan cosmology and mythology. They created a framework of cycles for predicting the future morning star risings of Venus – for centuries to come. With this system, they could also predict solstice and eclipse dates. The two cycles involved in this “calendar” system were the vague year of 365 days (the haab) and the sacred cycle of 260 days (the tzolkin). These two cycles synchronize with each other every 52 years, and this period of time was known as the Calendar Round. The Venus cycle fits in nicely with multiples of the Calendar Round, such that all three cycles synchronize once every 104 years (2 Calendar Rounds). This was the Venus Round, and the sacred day which began the Venus Round was known as the Sacred Day of Venus. From evidence in the Dresden Codex, one of the few surviving Mayan books, we know that 1 Ahau was the traditional Sacred Day of Venus for the Maya. Linguistically, the word Ahau means Lord, Sun, or Marksman, implying that the three cycles are “shot forth” from the sun on this day.

The Maya used this sacred framework of days to track the astronomical movements of Venus. Mythologies developed around Venus and the day-signs associated with its risings. The Popol Vuh of the Quiche Maya is one example of how the cycle of Venus was mythologized. In early Western civilization – in Mesopotamia – we know that Venus worship gave rise to astronomy, science, math and probably civilization itself. As did the Babylonian astrologers, gazing out from their ziggurats, the early skywatchers of Mexico noticed that 5 Venus cycles equals 8 years. This is just to say that if Venus emerged in the east as morning star on, say, Christmas, then Venus would again emerge on Christmas eight years later. 13 of these Sun/Venus cycles equal one Venus Round. Another interesting fact related to this is that, because of this 8:5 ratio, Venus traces a five-pointed star around the ecliptic every 8 years. The occult symbol of the pentagram probably has its roots in the discovery of this fact in ancient Mesopotamia.

The moon cycle was also incorporated into the Mayan Venus Calendar, by way of the 9-moon sacred cycle of 260 days. So this amazing calendrical system of the Maya structured the movements of Sun, Venus and Moon, the three brightest celestial lights."

VENUS AND THE START OF THE 13 BAKTUN CYCLE OF RECORDED HISTORY

Other researchers including Maurice Cottrell and Adrian Gilbert, have laid out the theory that the START (ALPHA Point) of the Mayan Long Count (LC marker 0.0.0.0.0) KATUN 1 (1.1) may be related to a celestial event of great proportions that altered forever the orbits and cycles of Venus:

“Apart from the calendrical periods of time already mentioned, the Maya used a 260-day ceremonial ‘astrological calendar’ and revered a special ‘super-number’ of 1,366,560 days that they referred to as the ‘Rebirth of Venus’. No orthodox researcher understands why the Maya calendar should have started on 10th August 3113 BC—more than 3,000 years before the Maya appeared on the planet—or why they chose to revere the 3113 BC date as the ‘birth of Venus’. However, in The Mayan Prophecies [Element Books Ltd, Shaftesbury, 1995] I showed how the Sun’s magnetic field shifted direction in 3113 BC causing the planet Venus to turn upside down on its axis—Venus now spins on its axis backwards and its rate of spin has slowed to 243 Earth days (i.e. one day on Venus now takes 243 Earth-days to subsist). The planet Earth, being more distant from the Sun, did not topple on its axis at that time. The magnetic reversal though did affect life on Earth; I showed how the 28–day revolving Sun showers the Earth with charged particles that regulate the menstrual cycle and hence fertility on Earth. “

VENUS CLOSING THE LION’S GATE:

As we complete TODAY one more solar orbit from the “Zero Point" in time devised by the Maya, planet Venus is PRECISELY entering Leo, and will stay there for the next 3 weeks. This is a powerful alchemical synchronization Venus (the planet ruler of relationships and the heart) enters the Heart of the Lion, the star Regulus.

How are these events interconnected through the fabric of Time-Space with the cycles of Venus and Sirius? Let’s examine this in more detail:

This celestial alignment marks the closing the "Lion’s Gate" Portal of 2022 and opens the doors of the 35th Solar orbit from the Harmonic Convergence of August 16-17 of 1987, the event that signaled the completion of the Quetzalcoatl Prophecy of the 13 Heavens and 9 Hells.

This synchronization closes in an EPIC way the Lion’s Gate Portal of 2022, the time of the year when the Heliacal Rising of the star Sirius (the brightest star in the night sky) is taking place across the Northern hemisphere while the Sun is transiting the constellation of Leo (hence the name ‘Lions Gate’). The Lion's Gate Portal begins to open on the 26th of July (Day 1 of the Sirian/Galactic New Year) and reaches its full aperture on the 8th of August or the 8/8 with the heliacal rising of Sirus at Giza latitude. Thereafter, it begins to close and is completed by the 11-12th of August.
