A little follow up here. With the closure of Twice New Consignment, I will still be sharing clothing here and there and am active on Poshmark. I appreciate the support of every single one of you.

With that said, I will be rebranding this page to "Kayla Paige" to share, in addition to clothing, some of my favourite products, reviews and life itself. For those of you who follow me personally, you know how much I love to share and I hope you'll stick around. 🩷

As you all know, I am all about transparency.

This journey has been life changing. I have met some incredible people and gained a ton of knowledge and confidence. This little business has brought me a lot of joy, but also taken a lot of time away from my family. In life, there comes a time when you need to make changes with good intentions. I've completely closed the shop for a few months in the past, and though I know everyone needs to take breaks, inconsistency isn't fair to my customers or myself. The stress weighs heavily and you feel unsuccessful and unreliable to the people counting on you. Something I don't take lightly.

As some of you know, I had a pregnancy loss at 4 1/2 months this February. Grief is a tough one, avoiding grief is unhealthy and something I've had to face head on while moving forward. With two step children at home and one in hockey, like everyone else, life gets busy. My intention has always been to squeeze this in when I could and when it's convenient for me but the pressure is real.

I work a fulltime job and this business is a side business. A lot of people have had a hard time understanding that and the timelines I set. The amount of work put into this shop is substantial. From reviewing each and every item for flaws, photographing, researching and pricing, posting, communicating, packing up and more often than not, delivering, it easily consumes full evenings and full weekends. With that said, I will be fully transparent, this is not sustainable with working fulltime with a family and a busy life. Something that is supposed to be fun, has become stressful and sometimes it's overbearing. Wearing your heart on your sleeve poses it's own stressors.

Regardless of where this takes me, i wanted to say a huge thank you to Michelle Guilbault, owner of Willow, for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. To every single person who has supported Twice New in any way, shape or form, I appreciate you more than you know.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for continuing to believe in me.
