Hey everyone, it’s Meg. I haven’t posted much here, I’ve been pretty busy with my new position at the friendship centre; my kids and their sports, and our family getting sick (which feels like constantly since the kids have started school) I don’t have much time to do anything else. I’m a little tired. That being said, I feel super bad when I have to cancel and reschedule appointments. My December is jammed packed between my full time job and the available times I did have open for services, so I am completely booked til December 31st - still waiting on my hubby’s schedule so I can book into January; also a reminder that I will no longer be doing nails as of Jan 1 2022.

Still here! Still getting some nails done! But man, this new job is keeping me super busy! Lucky to squeeze these appointments in!

Maegan here! How are you today? I hope you have a great day 💗 We have some news for you all; some may think it’s good and some may be bummed out…

I have taken a full time job, there was too much uncertainty with running my business full time; I will be working part time, keeping my regulars for lash, brow and PMU services. If you noticed that nails were not in the last sentence it is because I will no longer be offering nails as a service as of January 2022. Those who are booked til the end of December are more than welcome to keep their nail appointments, if you choose not to please let me know as soon as possible.

Another fun announcement is that I will be learning how to tattoo in the near future! So keep an eye out for models needed 🙂

Tori & I will be moving all of our services, which are Lash, Brow and PMU services, into Diamond & Dagger Tattoo and Esthetics Studio in Downtown Dryden at the end of December.

As of right now, there are only select appointments left for my 2021 bookings, if you want to book with Tori please send us as message instead of booking online so she can manually book you in for her services.

I want to thank all of my nail clients over the the years, you guys helped me learn so much about nails and becoming a better business person!

First client for combination Brows! She had microblading in the past and it was very faded so we opted for a combination brow - honestly, I was nervous again naturally; but they turned out great and seriously the reactions so far have been so positive! I just want to thank anyone who has and will be one of my models and those first few clients for each service because it’s an honour that you have that trust in me 🥰🥰

Meg is looking for ONE model for Shaded Eyeliner;

Permanent Shaded Eyeliner is a permanent makeup service that deposits pigment into the upper dermal layer of skin on the eyelid. It resembles the look of a smudged liner when healed and makes the traditional liner look more soft and subtle. Shaded eyeliner lasts from 3-5 years.

Follow up procedure for shaded eyeliner will be 6 weeks from your original appointment; during this time we will touch up your lip blush as there if often lost pigment during the healing period. Color fades 30-40%1. This step in very important to completing the service.

For this service, you must stop using any growth serums such as Eyenvy, Latisse or any other serum at least 5 days before procedure. Please do not wear contacts to appointment.

I will not be able to have you as a model if you are:
* Pregnant or nursing;
* Have glaucoma
* Undergoing chemotherapy or has undergone chemo in the past 12 months;
* Sick or unwell;
* A distinctive previous tattoo on the procedure area;
* A skin disorder or rash in the procedure area;
* Under the age of 18
* A visible keloid scar as it suggests keloid scarring tendencies for their brows
* On any acne medications (such as Acutane);
* Laser eye surgery in the last 6 months
* Eyelid surgery in the the last year
* Injections within 2 weeks before or after procedure
* Any visual conditions on eye or pink eye
* Is suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

A doctor’s note if a client has:
* An autoimmune disorder;
* Epilepsy;
* Heart problems;
* Diabetes (if recently diagnosed);
* A skin disorder in the eye area;
* Taking blood thinners
* Blurred Vision
* Medically deemed Dry eyes

So. Microblading/ micropigmentation has actually been a fear of mine in the past because dude someone is tattooing someone’s face and BROWS toboot!! It has been a rush of anxiety and nervousness starting this journey in permanent makeup - the same anxiety I had starting lashes in 2015. I never thought it was something I could do and I never thought I could do this either but I always seem to push my self through that fear a little by little. I wasn’t sure I wanted to post this because I’m still processing it all!! I made it through my first client who was a doll and literally left me with more courage in this work! Yes I am new at this, and yes I intend to be my best at it 🌻🌙 -Meg
